- Bio Reactor
THE IDEA:
Our customer developed a biological process for growing human bladders from the tissue of the patient. They needed a reactor designed that would house the structure to grow the bladder and to ship it when it was ready to implant.
THE PRODUCT:
TecRep designed a PP Bio Reactor with an internal scaffold structure to house the growing tissue and keep it in a sterile environment until implanted. We also designed the covers required to ship the grown tissue by air freight. The finished reactor was produced by one of our partners.
