Our Product design group uses Pro/ENGINEER 3D CAD Software with advanced surfacing capabilities to produce aesthetically pleasing parts than can be efficiently manufactured.

Scope of Services
Our focus is to complement our customers' engineering efforts by offering them the ability to get complex surfaced parts designed in a fraction of the time it would take them to do it in house. Our design services are free if the parts we design are produced by one of our contract manufacturing partners.

A typical project progresses as follows:

• A customer identifies a need for a part or product (or we can take a look at a customer's products and identify where a new design would improve the product or save money)
• TecRep's Engineering team meets with the customer to understand their requirements
• TecRep presents conceptual designs which include part and tool cost estimates.
• If the customer wishes to proceed with a design, specific design parameters are agreed upon. The customer agrees to purchase a specified number of parts at an agreed upon price from one of TecRep's manufacturing partners in return for the design services.
• Once the design meets the parameters agreed upon, the customer purchases the tooling to produce the parts.
• After the agreed upon number of parts is purchased, the customer owns the design and is free to source it from any manufacturer they choose.
